Straight answers about what this is, what it isn't, and what happens to what you write.
It's a private daily practice for everyday emotional health, on WhatsApp. Every day you get one honest question. You reply however you like, with text, a voice note, or a photo of your journal page, and you get a warm reply to what you actually wrote. There's nothing new to download.
It's how you're doing on an ordinary day: the stress, the overthinking, the self-doubt, the loneliness, the things you haven't said out loud. It sits well before anything clinical, and most people carry it alone because it never feels serious enough to take to anyone. More on everyday emotional health.
No. It doesn't diagnose or treat anything, and it isn't a replacement for a therapist, a counselor or a doctor. It's a daily reflection practice, and it points you toward professional support when that's what would help.
No. It is built not to. It honors how you feel, but it won't confirm a harsh verdict like "I'm the problem", and it doesn't help you replay a fight or feed a spiral. It stays calm when you're wound up, gives you something small to try, and points you back to the people in your life, and toward a professional when that would help. It's one honest perspective, not an authority.
It lives in WhatsApp, so there's nothing new to download and no new habit to build. And a blank page never answers back. Here, a question gets you started, and you get a real reply to what you wrote.
A general chatbot waits for you to open it and start. The Daily Whisper arrives every day with a question, remembers what you wrote before, and replies using techniques with research behind them. It also has safety routing built in.
Your replies go to the curated, evidence-based engine that writes back to you. They're never shared with your employer, other users, or anyone outside The Daily Whisper, and you can delete everything with one message. If your employer runs a team pilot, they see aggregate numbers only, never names and never entries.
Crisis language is caught before any reply is written, and you're pointed to national support lines, in English and Arabic. The Daily Whisper isn't an emergency service. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.
Techniques with research behind them, used for everyday reflection and not for treatment: expressive writing, naming feelings, CBT and ACT reframing, self-compassion, small steps and if-then plans, and everyday habits like movement, sleep and reaching out to someone you trust.
The research shows small but consistent benefits. A review of 146 studies found a small positive effect of expressive writing, and a 2023 review of 31 trials found benefits showing up one to three months later rather than immediately. It's a steady practice, and it isn't a quick fix.
A couple of minutes a day. Some days you'll write one line, and some days a lot more. Both are fine.
The first three days are free. After that it is AED 29 for 7 days, AED 89 for 21 days, AED 189 for 56 days, or AED 25 a week. Nothing renews automatically: each week we offer you a renewal link, and you pay only if you choose to.
No. It runs entirely in WhatsApp, on the number you already use. There's nothing new to download, no login, and no card needed to start.
Yes. A short quiz points your questions at one of eight focus areas: work and purpose, self-worth, relationships, boundaries, emotional patterns, self-trust, body and rest, and growth. After your first ten days, you can reply CHANGE to point your questions at a different focus area.
Yes. You can type, send a voice note, or photograph a page from your handwritten journal. You get one reply to all of it.
An Arabic version is coming. Crisis routing already works in both English and Arabic.
Yes. Teams start with a three-week pilot at AED 12 per employee, then AED 20 per employee per month. Joining is voluntary and private, and the company sees aggregate numbers only, never names or entries.
I did, after my own burnout, when writing helped but a blank page never answered back. My co-founder, Shrish, spent his career in security and risk, including at Google, and leads data protection. The company is registered in Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams), in the UAE.
